I woke up cheerfully today as my pet team won last night. Bravo Espagne!! As expected Spain was defeat over Germany 1-0 meaning that the ‘Henri Delauney’ Trophy @k@ Euro Champion 2008 goes to Spain. However my hubby compelled to agree with Spain’s strength. Ermm, so how bout the deal honey?? hehe..

And today is 30 June 2008, nothing special about today but yesterday was 29 June 2008 means it’s already a year we’ve been here in France specifically Toulouse. As time goes by, I still can feel the sadness being apart from our beloved family. And we are counting days to return back to our family and beloved country. Insya Allah, we’ll be back at the end of September with our new family member, Ahmad Farrel Daniel. We are looking forward for that moment and hope that USM will provide us tickets before Aidilfitri. Coz in past 2 years, I didn’t have chance to celebrate Aidilfitri with my family. Last year I celebrate for the very first time as wife here in Toulouse together with my lovely hubby and the most terrible was in 2006 where I did celebrate it alone in Japan particularly in the office. So sad.

During the past one year, so many things
occurred, ups and downs, good things, bad things which teach us the meaning of
life and how to be a better person. For us, what happened here left us 1001
unforgettable memories. Our life as husband and wife was beginning here and we
did learn a lot. For us, everyday is a new opportunity. We can build on
yesterday’s success or put its failure behind and start over again. That’s the
way of life, full of new ‘game’ every day. Thanks to Allah, without HIS
‘guidance’ and ‘hidayah’ we never know where we are now. HE did give us the
hardship and HE did also give us the way out from the hardship. Alhamdulillah.
And not to forget our beloved family and friends, they never stop praying for
us. Thanks so much. Huhu, we really love you all so much.

Soldes, time to shopping!!

Thursday, June 26th, 2008
Soldes’ has started here. I’m not so sure about the other European country. But as far as I know, Begium also has this kind of ‘fiesta’ but only will start beginning of July.
In easier word ‘Soldes’ means Sales @k@ Summer Sales because it
happened during the summer. Hehe. Malaysia also has but known as Mega Sale. We are so excited especially to see ourselves what ‘nature’ of ‘fiesta’ it is. Last year we arrive here on 29 Jun 2007, but at that time we were not excited as now. I’m not really remembered what we bought for the last summer. The only I remembered were the gorceries and the ‘things’ for our ‘tiny’ studio room to start our life.

Truly to say, we are waiting this ’soldes’ Hehe. And now it’s the time. Yesterday, we went to Carrefour Labege to see the situation. As expected every shop has the ‘Soldes’ tag with different color and discount to attract people to buy their things. Hehe. Unfortunately, we had limited time because had the appointment with the authority here on 1830 pm yesterday, to sign/fill the document to extend our resident permit until this October. Hoho!! We planned to going out today to see what they can offer us. Haha!! Yesterday, we just visited Esprit. And with limited time we had, my hubby and I just ‘harvested’ two t-shirts and one purse. Haha!!

The only incident which funny for us, Farrel was so sleepy yesterday. Surprisingly after we arrived Carrefour he opened up his eyes as big as he can. Looking around because there were many people around him. He smiled to us when we were in queue to pay things. Haha.

There are my wih lists for the ‘Soldes’: (bleh ye bang!! Hehe)

 1) Clothes
2) Make-Up Collection
3) Handbag
4) Watch
5) Sandal

P/s: We have to bear in mind, with limited of money we have to be ’smart’ shopper. We have other agenda in Malaysia.

Summer and Kisah Farrel lagiii

Your smile makes Mummy n Daddy’s heart melt……
Summer
has finally arrived in Toulouse. It’s been extremely hot and,
unfortunately, I am not much of a summer person. Our apartment doesn’t
have air conditioning so the best way to deal with the heat is to turn
on the fan 24 hours a day. Fortunately, we have trees at backyard of
our apartment which act as a sun shield. Then we avoid going out from
house frequently aw we did during the autumn. Just staying at our small
apartment but seems so comfortable for three of us, sometimes annoying
us too. Whilst watching TV, playing games, etc. Nothing much we can do
outside since it’s too hot. I can feel that the sun likes to burn us
when it’s touch the skin. Huhu.

But for me it’s other side of
story. Staying at home means to save the budget. Since nowhere here to
go, just shopping complex like Carrefour, Auchan, E Leclerc. Visiting
those means we have to spend our money. Hehe. It’s good huh?

Today
we are sending our parcel back to Malaysia. Not too much, just 4 big
boxes with sized 350×450x600 and the weight for all boxes with our
things inside about 106kg. I really don’t have any idea about the total
cost of sending the parcel yet. But from our discussion with the guy
from the parcel company, it will cost us about 500++ Euro. It’s the
cost from door to airport only, if we wanted the parcel arrive safely
at our home we have to add another 150++ Euro. Too expensive ha? We
wanted to send it early to avoid the cost of sending will continuously
increase in the future. Hoping that the parcel will arrive safely at
the airport and safely taken by my father.

Owh yea.. Good news,
Farrel starting to ‘meniarap’ . First time we saw he did it last week
we are so excited. Farrel successfully at the end after strive harder
for about 2 weeks. Alhamdulillah, his making great strides physically
and developmentally. The important thing he’s also learning to
communicate with us through facial expressions especially when he’s
crying. Hehe.

First time meniarap.. Go sayang.. Go Go…

Who’s excited more?? Daddy or Farrel???

Mummy n Farrel during Sea Lion spectacles

                                   With the "nice" Paddy horse..
